You can read the air pressure from the scale on the revolving brass ring, accurate to ± 5 hPa. The set hand is used to mark the current value: This allows you to read the changes in air pressure and get an accurate weather forecast for the next 12 to 48 hours. To calibrate the barometer, simply turn the adjusting screw until the hand is on the air pressure at your location (available from your met office or at pro.meteo24.com/uk/). Two brass dials 6cm (2 1⁄3") in diameter show you the room temperature (± 1°C) and humidity (± 8%).
