Now the business world wears large wrist watches, too. However, many of them are much too sporty – and often too bulky. The new XL Superslim from Skagen is totally different: The watch is only 3.9mm high and is even flatter than its famous predecessor. It slips under every cuff without any resistance. No raised watch glass which rubs and no bulky, disturbing crown. And the wonderful design is a testimony to self-confidence and low-key elegance.

The case encloses a hardened, scratch-resistant mineral crystal and is slanted at the sides to make the watch appear even flatter. Skagen even found a clever solution to the problem of the obtrusive crown and has placed it on the left side of the XL Superslim.

The hands, figures and minute marks in bright gleaming chrome are easy to read against the 38mm (1 1⁄2") wide dial in black. The clear graphic hands and 6 indices glow in the dark. Case 43mm (1 3⁄4") in diam., in total 6.5mm high, watertight up to 3 atm. The watch weighs a mere 42g (1.5oz). Precise Japanese quartz movement; functions with a button battery (included).
