The forerunner was the test winner of the German DIY magazine “Heimwerker Praxis” 2/05 (quality evaluation: Excellent).
Now Fieberitz, one of the leading German companies in the dehumidification sector, has further improved its dehumidifier by increasing its effectiveness (18.2 litres/4gal instead of 12 litres/2.6gal per day) and for room volumes of 250m³/8,829ft³ instead of 200m³/7,063ft³. And that at a really fair price.
Humid air is absorbed through a rinsable particle filter and cooled down in the appliance with a vaporiser.
The water evaporates and is collected in a removable container (4.5 litres/0.9gal). Or connect a drainage hose if preferred. The dehumidified air simply flows out of the appliance slightly heated. This keeps your house intact – as well as its value.
A rotary switch lets you determine the humidity rate most pleasant for you (from 35-99%).
The appliance is controlled by a built-in hygrostat which automatically lowers the humidity to the set level. A humidity of 50% is ideal for your health. Anything above that lets fungal spores thrive which triggers allergies. The ventilator provides adequate air flow.

When the container is full of water the appliance switches itself off automatically. Empty the container and the dehumidifier is ready again.
