Watering Spheres, Set of 4
Colourful glass spheres keep your plants watered for up to 10 days.
Just fill them with water and stick them into the planter.
Starting now, you can stop worrying about watering your valuable plants. Just fill this decorative glass sphere with approx. 380ml (13.4 oz) of water, hold the open end of the glass tube shut, and stick the stem approx. 8-12cm (3" - 4 7⁄10") into the soil at a slight angle. Part of the tube fills with soil so that the water cannot flow through right away.
The plant only gets as much water as it needs.
Not too much and not too little. The soil soaks the water up like a sponge. Once the soil is saturated the water will stop flowing. Additional water only seeps from the sphere when the soil starts to get dry. So your plants are protected from drying out but are not drenched – and will thrive.
Made in one piece using traditional glass blowing artistry.
The colourful glass spheres are carefully mouth blown which makes each one unique with respect to the colour, pattern, weight, and size. A wonderful eye-catcher for your flower box, and a great match for flowering and non-flowering plants. Each set of 4 contains 2 blue and 2 green spheres.
Overall length approx. 30cm (12"), sphere diameter approx. 9cm (3 1⁄2"). Weight approx. 150g each (5.3 oz).
