Side table and attractive sculpture in one. Each one unique. Handmade from robust acrylic glass.
At first glance, it’s a graceful bistro table with an elegant floor length tablecloth. The baffling thing is that there is no base frame – there is only the apparently floating tablecloth, which looks like something from a magic show. An attractive eye-catcher in a slick Danish design.
Handmade in Germany from 3mm thick thermoplastic acrylic. Can bear up to 25kg / 55 lbs.
The heated acrylic disc is placed over a round pedestal measuring 30cm (11 2⁄5") in diameter. Afterwards the folds in the tablecloth are carefully formed and shaped into feet at the corner edges. Once cooled and solidified, the acrylic looks deceptively like a floor-length tablecloth – floating freely yet sturdy, with elegant folds and a smooth, round table top.
A fascinatingly versatile piece which is fabulous with any home decor style.
Perfect as a delicate side table in the study, guest room, the terrace, as a bedside table in the bedroom, or as a decorative table in the hallway or bathroom. The acrylic glass is neutral in colour and withstands temps ranging from 0 to 35°C. It suits all types of furnishings in every colour. Lasting quality that will not become porous or dull. Simply wipe down with a damp cloth to clean. Measures 45cm (17 7⁄10") in height, 31cm (12 1⁄5") in diam. Weighs approx. 3kg (6.6 lbs). Design: John Brauer.
