You can now light the entrance to your home, your outside steps and your drive, or even remote pieces of property – and you can do it without having to lay a single power cable. A 7 x 12cm (2 4⁄5" x 4 7⁄10") polycrystalline solar module provides energy for 2 spotlights equipped with bright-white 1W LEDs. Cannot be compared with simple solar lights: The integrated 3.6V NiMH battery has been specially developed for solar operation. The solar-powered battery stores enough energy to light up approx. 250 times for 10 seconds. Even in total darkness the lights will continue to light up 5 times a day for approximately 50 days.
The solar cells have a high energy efficiency of around 15% (instead of the more common 12 - 14%).
The battery will even recharge itself when the sky is overcast. Install the solar module in the direct vicinity of the light. Or up to 5m (16ft) away, if this looks better or is advantageous due to the direction of the sun’s rays (cable included). For larger outdoor areas simply install several spotlights.
Movement sensor with a 10m (33ft) range and 130° angle of coverage. Light range approx. 5m (16ft).
You can use the incorporated dimmer switch to set the desired ambient brightness (3 - 1000 lux). If the integrated movement sensor does not register any activity within 10 seconds of being switched on, the light will automatically switch itself off.
The spotlights can be set to different directions for customised lighting.
