This clever battery charger immediately recognises the type of inserted rechargeable battery and the condition it’s in. While simple devices have slots which all recharge in the same manner, this device treats each rechargeable
battery individually. A microprocessor controls the charging process. Once the battery has reached peak capacity, the process is automatically discontinued (minus-delta-V). This prolongs the life of your battery. No overcharging, no overheating as is usually the case in time-controlled units. A replenishment system can even reactivate older batteries.
For example, a 2,000 mAh rechargeable battery is recharged in just 70 minutes. Simpler devices often take several hours.
Choosing the charging current is simple: For 4 batteries 200, 500, 700 or 1,000 mAh, even 1,800 mAh when recharging 2 batteries.
To refresh older and deep-discharged batteries, the charge-discharge cycle is repeated until the highest possible capacity has been reached. It’s even possible to charge, discharge, refresh and test batteries at the same time. Defect batteries or ones that have been inserted improperly are rejected.
Suitable for up to 4 AAA and/or AA rechargeable batteries (NiMH and/or NiCd). All information is visible in the clear display (instead of just LED’s).
