Now save all your treasured photos without the help of a PC. Transfer your old keepsakes onto an SD/SDHC card (separately available) at a high resolution of 3,200 dpi. For example an 8 GB card will hold about 1,500 photos or slides. You can then look at your photos anywhere – on a PC, TV, overhead projector or digital photo frame.
The flatbed scanning surface makes it especially easy to operate.
Open the lid and place the appropriate frame attachment onto the scanning glass (includes 3 frame attachments for print sizes 9 x 13cm/3 1/2” x 5”, 10 x 15cm/4” x 6” and 13 x 18cm/5” x 7”). Then place the photo or business card on top of the frame attachement. Negatives and slides are placed in a separate holder (supplied) and inserted in the fixture at the front of the scanner. Press OK – and in just one second the scanned image is visible on the 2.4” TFT display. Press another button to rotate the image left or right or reverse it horizontally or vertically. Or convert scanned negatives directly.
Also works with a PC. Easy via USB interface (USB cable included).
The 14 megapixel CMOS sensor with a high quality glass lens delivers superior, sharp-edged images in high contrast with 12 bit colour depth. A 4608 x 3072 pixel image will even let you make 39 x 26cm (15” x 10”) sized prints in a high resolution of 300 dpi (instead of the usual 22 x 16.5cm or 9” x 6”). Only professional photo labs deliver better results. However, this scanner saves you from handing over your valuable photos and slides to someone else and you can process them on your PC using the software provided if you like.
